　　Many high school students are doing a lot of schoolwork. However, people believe that students should help their parents with household chores, since it is the best way to give them a sense of responsibilities.

　　考题回忆Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

　　Children should spend most of the time playing and studying, and they should not be required to do household chores, like cooking or cleaning.

　　1.做家务养成良好的生活习惯，锻炼好的自主生活能力。

　　2. 家务琐事枯燥负责很容易产生矛盾焦虑，远不如学习和玩耍给人带来的乐趣。

　　除了学校的作业，学生们还需要时间去培养自己的兴趣爱好。

　　In my opinion, I agree with the statement that children should not be required to participate the chores.

　　It is widely recognized that the school work in school is crucial for the students’ accumulation of knowledge and preparation for admitting to the higher grade. Children need to take lots of courses and complete assignments for different subjects in school. After school, they need plenty of time to finish their homework and review what they have learned. In addition, children need enough time to relax themselves so they could study more efficiently at school. Household chores occupy their time for study and rest, therefore, may lay heavy burden on children.

　　Beside schoolwork, children need time to cultivate their own interests such as play instruments or doing sports. Particularly, as for children, childhood is a significant period to get trained in the fields they take interest in.  They may spend time after school for social activities. No one could deny that interacting with more people broadens social circle and paves the way to success. Otherwise, house works disturb the plan for extracurricular activities and deprive their potentials.

　　Admittedly, doing house works is a good habit for children, but it is not the only way to cultivate the sense of responsibility. Students could learn virtues, obtain practical skills, and accumulate experiences by collaborating with different people to develop their sense of responsibility.

　　All in all, children ought to have more flexibility in their school life and focus on their academic performance.
