　　Students are more interested in politics today than they were in the past.

　　解题思路题目为事实类题目，正方和反方都比较好写。

　　理由1： 科技的进步和发展给学生更多的机会了解政治。

　　理由2： 现在很多政治人物就是明星。

　　反方：

　　理由1： 孩子比以前更忙。

　　参考范文In this day and age, politics have been regarded as one of the most important and influential matters, producing far-reaching effects on many aspects of people’s life. In this era of information explosion, although most students can be easily exposed to various political events or politicians on the internet, I do not think that children are more interested in politics than they used to be.

　　To begin with, most students are extremely occupied with their laborious school assignments. By that I mean, it is oftent noticed that having been influenced by exam-oriented education, an increasing number of students in primary or secondary education are suffering from piles of tasks, constant exams as well as intense peer competition, and hardly can most of them spare any time to develop their own interest. In order to survive and strive in this spoon-fed education system, some students are required to only concentrate on improvement of their academic achievements. Under this circumstance, it is quite understandable that some of the students are less enthusiastic about political events or political figures. For example, my brother Li Bo, as a high school student preparing National Exam, has to get up early at 6 am, and study at school the whole day till 10pm on a daily basis. In spite of his excellent academic performances, he knows nothing about any political affairs both home and abroad.

　　Another essential factor is that politics are much less fun. As is known to all, taken as the most serious and complicated issue, politics cover a wide range of topics, including presidential election, economic policies, diplomatic relationship or heath care reform, none of which is easy to understand and comprehend for students at young age. In this world full of breathtaking changes and innovations, younger generations are more likely to show greater enthusiasm about fashionable clothing, cutting-edge technology or fascinating video games instead of humdrum and obscure political affairs. The Iron Man in Avengers is more appealing and intriguing than Nuclear crisis in Iran. For example, LOL, as one of the most famous and popular video games, has been attracting more than 1.6 billion young players around the globe, most of whom have no idea who is the president of the US in 2021.

　　In conclusion, I am fully convinced that students are less interested in politics because they are busy with their schooling and politics tend to be quite insipid for young people.
