　　It’s undoubtable to say that Physical Activities should not be considered as an assessment standard. Firstly, when physical education becomes a test, rather than an activity, it would increase students’ burden. Nowadays, students are dealing with many different subjects academically everyday—a normal student in China has 8-9 subjects even in middle school. Almost all of these subjects will be tested at the end of each semester. Adding PE as another additional assessment measures would only increase their physical work load.

　　Besides, everybody has his/her own realms of profession. Some are born to be athletes; some others are artists; yet some are better off if they devote to science…If a student happens to lack talents in Physical activities due to personal reasons, it would be unfair to grade them based on  such narrow narratives. For instance, my former high school roommate is an excellent drawer; however, when it comes to swimming, she is not a great fit. Whenever we have a swimming class, all we could see is the reluctance filling up her chest. It is as if she is not only suffocating because of the water pressure, but also of the pressure to pass the PE test.
