组织活动
I personally would prefer organizing events for the following reasons. First of all, organizing events improves our overall skills. Not only does it make us more organized, it also improves our soft skills, as well as our leadership skills. An event normally requires many beforehand plannings, including designing intriguing contents of the program, booking appropriate event sites, creating attractive advertising campaigns and so on. During all these processes, we horn our planning skills in a great deal. How we balance our budgets among all the proceeds, cooperate multiple departments together, design the processes – all these help practice our organizing skills.
On top of the above, organizing an event improves our soft skills. Soft skills refer to social sills pertaining to communications. When organizing an event, we normally need to communicate with multiple agents. For instance, we ought to talk to our sponsors, audience, co-workers. We also need to know how to mediate conflicts during collaborations. Therefore, it definitely helps us improve our social skills.
Last but not least, we can prove our capabilities to our future employees or applied schools. Since the successful implementation of certain events requires immeasurable amount of efforts and hard work, there is no doubt thata great leader would be compatible when it comes to challenges. Therefore, our future employee would more likely to hire us if we have had similar leadership experience before.
