　　Companies should allow employees to text or send emails during work for the following reasons. Firstly, this helps employees in case of their emergencies. If say an important delivery is arriving at your home while no one is available around your apartment to help pick up, then sending text toarrange the logistics now become very important. If we instead constrain the employee from texting at all under this specific circumstance, this employee will fidget and be in great inconveniences. It’s more understanding if we can work around the texting rules more flexibly. In addition, if employee can use this as a chance to take a break from working, we can actually improve the efficiencies of his work in the end. It’s tiring to always stare at our work computer and focus on tasks; however, giving employees time to text back friends would help mediate such high pressure.
