　　I personally wouldn’t seek a best roommate from my best friends for the following reasons. First of all, what is distant is beautiful. We might not have noticed the shortcomings of our good friends when we just hang out in public; however, many sensitive details that might trigger our central boundaries would occur if we get too intimate with our friends by living together. For example, I used to have this roommate who were my good friend. She really likes singing and that really didn’t get in our way until she moved in with me. I realized her strong passion for singing persisted even when she was showering during midnight. Sometimes, I would find her singing too noisy that I could not focus on my own studying. And that really impairs our relationship as roommates. Secondly, if we are seeing the same friend whenever we open our eyes, it would be hard for us to actually meet other new friends. Our time is mostly packed with activities with the same person such that we are unable to meet new friends.
