  Nowadays,leaders in different fields are younger than those in the past. What arethe reasons for this? Is this a positive or negative development ?

  审题:“工作”和“年龄”话题的交叉,第一问可以从企业发展对管理者的素质要求变化等角度解释,第二问可以从年轻领导和年长领导各自的优劣势角度展开思考,好/坏都可以,充分解释即可。

  结构:2-part题型,四段式,两个主体段分别回应一个写作任务。如果第一问拓展较多(毕竟问题是reasons复数),可以两个原因各写一段,全文五段。

  lt is true that the average age of managers and team leaders has been decreasing inrecent decades.Personally, I believe that there are two reasons for this trend and it is apositive development in general.

  The first reason is the fast growth of the IT industry where the younger generation aremore likely to excel.Compared with the older generation,most millennials grow upwith computers and the Internet so that they are usually more skilled andqualified to lead lT companies to be competitive in the digital era. Mark Zuckerberg.theyoung CEo of Facebook, is  the best example. Another reason isthat companies need younger leaders to deal with the changes. Young practitioners inmarketing and advertising are better at creating effective strategies to boost salessince they are more familiar with the shopping habits and preferences ofyoung customers who have become dominant in the market.Therefore, these youngeremployees are more probably to be promoted to management positions than theirolder counterparts.

  In my opinion, the rise in the number of younger leaders is a good trend as it bringsbenefits to organisations. Firstly,young managers are normally more innovative.This isa key character of leadership which plays an important part in keeping thecompany outstanding in this fast changing age. Secondly,younger leaders maycontribute more to the business since they are healthier and more energetic than oldermanagers. lf the chief executive could not manage a hectic schedule that isusual among leaders, he or she would hardly lead the business to a better future.Finally,leaders at a younger age are more able to successfully inspire employeesto work harder and achieve greater business growth by setting ambitious goals.

  In conclusion,leaders are getting younger because of technological advancementand the changing market. I think it is a positive trend since it benefits companiesin the long run.
