　　In some societies, the role of a mother differs in some ways from the role of a father Wy do you think these differences exist? How might he parental role develop in the future? (20151121)

　　In many cultures, the role of a father and the role of a mother are very different. Many people want to know how this difference arises, and how this difference will develop in the future.

　　From the perspective of social development, there are two main reasons for the difference in parental roles. First of all, this phenomenon is possibly caused by traditional values of society. People are social animals, and our ideas are partly influenced by traditional social values. For example, in the matriarchal society, women had the highest status, so their social roles were different from that of patriarchal society. Another factor is the difference in physical ability between men and women. Obviously, considering the strength and agility of men, they are usually stronger than women. Therefore, in a primitive society, men are often responsible for some important jobs, such as hunting, building houses and so on. Women are normally in charge of domestic work that requires less physical strength.

　　However, with the continuous development of the civilised world. these differences between men and women are gradually decreasing. This is mainly due to the continuous progress of science and technology, changing the way we acquire living materials. In the future family life, the role of each parent Is expected to become equal. Specifically, mothers will be able to spend more time on their careers and may take more important responsibilities in the home. Fathers may also participate in more family work, or even become full-time stay-at-home dads. These changes are likely to become common in a more diversified social environment in the future.

　　In summary, as primitive men and womens roles were mainly determined by physiological factors the differences in the roles of men and women in modem society will gradually change because of the innovation of social concepts and the continuous progress of science and technology.

　　在很多文化中，父亲和母亲所扮演的角色有很大差异。很多人都想知道这种差异因何产生以及这种差异未来会如何发展。

　　从社会发展的角度来看，导致父母角色差异的原因主要有两个。首先，可能是社会的传统价值观造成了这种现象。人是群居性动物，所以我们的很多思想都或多或少地受到社会传统价值观的影响。比如，在母系社会中，女性的地位最高，因此她们所承担的社会角色也和父系社会不同。另一个因素是男女双方的体能差异。显然，男性的力量和敏捷性要优于女性。所以，在原始社会中，男性往往承担着外出打猎、盖房子等重要工作，而女性则通常在家负责一些对体力要求不高的工作。

　　然而，随着现代文明的不断发展，男女差异正在逐渐缩小。这主要是因为科技的不断进步改变了我们获取生活物资的方式。在未来的家庭生活中，父母的角色会变得更加平等。具体来说，母亲也可以在自己的事业上多花时间，在家庭中承担更重要的责任。父亲也可能会参与更多的家庭劳动，甚至成为全职奶爸。在未来更加多元化的社会环境中，这些现象会变得越来越普遍。

　　总之，原始社会中的男女角色主要是由生理因素决定的，而现代社会中的男女角色差异会逐渐因社会观念的更新和科技的不断进步而发生改变。
