　　• Which family it is

　　A family that comes to mind is my friend, Jack’s family. It’s a special family because Jack is gay. He and his partner tied the knot 结婚 in Las Vegas last year.

　　• Where they live

　　Actually they used to live just down the road from me 在我家附近 and we would meet up all the time. However, last year, they moved to the countryside, as theycouldn’t stand 无法忍受 the discrimination 歧视 and judgement from their neighbors.

　　Now they live in a small village and set up their own family business. Even though life there isn’t as lively as the city, they are enjoying the simple life.

　　• How you know them

　　I have known them for about 10 years. We met each other at a party and at that time, they weren't in a relationship.

　　But after the party, they started dating and sometimes, they would ask me if I wanted to hang out with them. Because of this, we became good friends and I know everything about their love story.

　　• Why you like them

　　I think the world of 极其钦佩 both of them. They are the kindest, and most beautiful people I know. I am constantly inspired by their bravery.

　　Their families were very against the relationship from the start and did not support them in any way. They both come from really conservative 保守的 and traditional families and both sides wanted the relationship to end.

　　However, they never gave up and stuck together through thick and thin 福祸与共. In the end they decided to run away and elope 私奔. They have taught me to stand up for 坚持 what you believe in and always follow your heart.
