范文
An increasing number of aged population make the choice of living the retirement home, where they can be taken care of or accompanied by professional attendants and their peer group members. This development, as I believe, could be encouraged among the elderly, despite the potential disadvantages.
The obvious argument in favor of living in the nursing home is the psychological and mental well-being these retired senior could enjoy from the peer contact, by sharing the same social background and exchanging ideas with regard to the typical interests. For example, some retired ladies would find fellowmen, with similar interest, in the retired community dancing, singing or even choreographing together, while retired men could seldom fail to share thoughts about establishment of the patriotic course. These could not always be achievable for their counterparts living together with adult children and therefore taking the charge of caring their grand children.
The professional daily care could also offer a blessing for the physical health and longevity of these retired seniors, as sanitation and medical care service are available with prudence. If the expertise is ensured for the elderly, then some highly frequent diseases may not be a trouble for these community people as serious as for those children adherent elderly, because even dietary suggestions could be ensured.
However, living in the nursing home, for retired people may be subject to the shortage of budget, as the pensioners may not afford a quality but expensive nursing home. If the inexpensive ones are their option, then the advantages of good quality care , both emotionally and physically, mentioned above, cannot be ensured. However, the economic concerns can be addressed strategically, within the policies adopted and professionals expanded.
To sum up, nursing homes could be encouraged among these senior citizens for there well-being, although this does not mean that potential drawbacks in terms of the budget should be ignored. With better pension system and strict regulations, the elderly and their adult children could both benefit from such great policy.
