　　内容回忆Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Professional athletes do not deserve the high salaries that they are paid

　　参考答案I disagree with the statement, it is really reasonable and acceptable for those athletes to earn not only reputation but also wealth from those activities. First of all, they have a very specialized and in-demand skillset that requires years of practice and hard work, not to mention the risk of injury during the games and the short career span and possible life expectancy. And then it’s the supply and demand thing. If people are willing to spend large amounts of their money and time watching these athletes compete, they deserve to benefit from the fruits of their labor.
