　　People should look after their health as a duty to the society where they live, rather than their own benefits. What extent do you agree or disagree?

　　Personal well-being and healthcare industry is drawing greater concerns from the publicand the governors due to its relationship to life quality and stable social productivity.However, some propose that citizens should be obligated to keep healthy in the interest oftheir society,regardless their willingness and choice. The seemingly kind opinion in factviolate people’ s rights and should not be granted.

　　lt is undeniable that a general healthy population benefits social economy in two ways.Firstly, if all the work force maintained a good health condition, the steady and longersupply of human resource would be guaranteed and daily businesses thus less likely to getinterrupted for sudden sick leaves. The other fringe advantage is the saving of medicalresources.The body in good conditions requires less medicine and nursing just like thelower costs of maintenance for cars in good repair.

　　However, ignoring the motivation of subjects in the case, the idea will not be feasible andstir up fierce resistance when this lifestyle becomes mandatory or is deemed to be morallyright. For example, people sometimes have no option of their well-being, such as those withobesity inherited from seniors members of family. If keeping healthy as a duty were to putinto practice, their status would meant administrative penalties or morally inferior position,which is totally and clearly unequal. What is worse,the compulsory policy violatesfundamental human rights. It is a personal choice for an individual to pamper or restrictoneself.

　　ln conclusion, rather than promoting healthy issues as obligations to all citizens cruelly outof social reasons, governments should help its people develop proper lifestyles in their owninterests.
