　　The three pie charts illustrate the distribution of age, gender of game players and popularityof products in gaming industry in South Korea in 2003.

　　The age division is relatively even, with over a third respectively coming from players beforeadulthood(37%) and those between 18 to 35(38%),while less than one quarter customerswere middle-aged. In regard to gender, video games gained ovewhelmingly more favor bymale players(72%),almost tripled compared to female players(28%).

　　The types of best-sellers indicated diverse tastes for Korean game buyers.47% of the mostpopular games belonged to the category of Action,，nearly half of the total account.Competitive game types,Sports and Racing， ranked the second and the third positions,taking over 20% and 15% of the market share.The other two sorts,Education and Some,split equally the following 12% of the market.

　　Even though the restaurant chains have brought some delicacy and save time for customers,some insist that they have been continually invading across continents and broughtundeniably negative impacts on target countries. My opinion follows this way of thinking.

　　ln the social scale, this trend is eradicating the space for traditions and of farmers. lt isknown that traditional foods are generally associated with ethnic customs. However, thedishes that domestic inhabitants used to cook usually take considerable amount of time inpreparing,so the established habitual cuisines are now dying away among the younggeneration who often leads a hectic lifestyle. The other impact that farmers should face thealtering requirements on ingredients. The long-established farming methods are replaced bymodernized farms where the equipment, the breeds and seeds are tightly held in hands offoreign capitals, which results in unemployment and grinding labors.

　　To residents, the tasty fast food cause health issues. The fast food is majorly based ondehydrated and meat-oriented products and when families begin to adopt them as thefundamental part of their diet, the total intake will lose the balance and cause problems likeobesity, diabetes and so on.Also, the submission to fast foods means the adaptation to fasttempo of life,which deprives the pleasure of domestic cooking and gathering, posing harmto the family bonds.

　　ln conclusion, the fast food invasion, having narrowed the food diversity in target countries,jeopardizes the countries on various social levels. The replacement of traditional foodsindicates loss of conventions, the strike on usual agricultural practice and the sacrifice ofpeople's well-being.
