With the fierce competition in the society, the job market becomes overwhelmingly saturated symbolizing the challenges of finding a satisfying job. Job hunters begin to improve their searching method in order to succeed. Personally speaking,I holdthe opinion that among the three popular method to find a job, asking for friends or asking online for information of job opening is the best way to achieve the goal.Not only because friends may have insight of the job and can provide a better comprehension, but also the online information can filter the jobs into different categories and directly meet the needs.
To begin with, the online searching will largely improve the efficiency of finding a job compared with want advertisements in newspapers. To be more specific, jobs are divided into different categories and users can directly search for the fields one wants to work in. Take myself as an example, majoring in industrial design,I was expecting to find an internship in the relative field. First,I began with the newspapers and after great amounts of searching,I gave up this method for itstime consuming and chaotic arrangement in the job section. Switching to online searching, the Internet helped me divide the jobs into design related and I could easily look for the jobs I was interested in.
What's more, Friends' experience will offer a better understanding on the jobs. To elaborate on the topic, friends in the company will have an insight on the policies of the company. Since salaries and bonus are probably where the attention goes, it would be beneficial for people to have a insider's opinion and then decide to apply for the job. According to the survey conducted in 2018, around 80 percent of the job hunters thought it would be nicer if someone introduce the companies' policy and information for them. It is true that sending letters to the company will get a more direct feedback. However, the job looking journey is not just get a job, it is concerned with choosing a satisfying job.
Admittedly, looking for want advertisement and sending letters to the companies have advantages such as various source of information from differentiated perspectives. However, with the data base used by the Internet, job information can be obtained throughout varioussources not to mention its powerful algorithm to give the individual more direct and useful background information. Moreover, friends in the company can also provide you with first-hand experience about working in the company.
In conclusion, though sending letters to company and searching for the advertisement have advantages over asking for friends or asking online for information to some extent. The convenience of searching online and experiences from friends will serve us better in the way of achieving success when finding a satisfying job.
